Joy in tribulation?

How do you think happy thoughts when your world is upside down?

1. Take a deep breath. Tell yourself that this is not the end of the world. Tell yourself that in life you'll face greater challenges and obstacles, far more painful and difficult than your present one.

2. Don't think about your obstacle. Don't replay the scene of your problem like its the good part of the show, it clearly isn't. Replaying it in your mind will only weaken yourself and scar you more.

3. Do something. Don't just sit around thinking about the same thing. Don't whine, don't stop. Try not to stop yourself from doing something. Keep working. I'm 100% sure you'll have some undone tasks or some incomplete dreams. Not doing anything and walking around idly will only remind you of your obstacle and how you're so helpless about it.

4. Pray to God. If the case worsens. If you can't bear the pain and hopelessness of it all. If you can't withstand the density and gloom of the matter. Ask God. Tell God your problem. Pray for His peace, that transcends all human understanding to guard your heart. Pray for His love to envelope your heart, mending your hurt. Tell God what you feel. Ask Him to come into your heart. And somehow, you'll feel much better.

5. Take the advices above. Sometimes, even I have to force myself to apply my own knowledge. It's so inevitable for all of us to only apply 10% of our knowledge, understanding and theories. Don't that sound so familiar?

Need to sleep now. Hope you understand all that I pointed out. (:
